Service Description
This workshop grants each participant up to 20 minutes of individual coaching while other participants observe. The session may also include group discussions on various topics based on participants' interests. Workshop duration is as follows: 120 mins/5 participants 90 mins/4 participants 70 mins/3 participants 45 mins/2 participants 20 mins/1 participant If you see an open session with vacancies, you may sign up for the session directly. Please contact us if you wish to book a workshop at your desired date and time. Before you contact us, please make sure you have at least 2 participants attending. Thank you! Introduction to Speech Coaching Speech coaching is a highly customized service in nature since every client is different with unique problems to solve. Our speech coaching pedagogy is developed upon acting techniques, vocal techniques and diction training for actors/singers. Here is a non-exhaustive list of what speech coaching can do for you. Accent Reduction: If you are a non-native English or Mandarin speaker, we can help you neutralize your accent. This will make your speech more intelligible and in turn give you more confidence while speaking. Public Speech: We will go over your speech and improve the clarity and delivery of ideas. Also, you will be trained on speaking voice, expression and body language. Presentation: Different from a public speech, a presentation encompasses visual aid, such as slides. Thus, besides the speech, we will also make sure your materials help you deliver a concise presentation that holds your audiences' focus. Vocal Delivery: Sometimes it is really not about what you have to say but how you say it. The pitch and tone can affect the delivery of your speech greatly. We will help you adopt the proper speaking voice that suits the message you are trying to convey. Vocal Health: Our vocal cords are two bands of smooth muscle tissues that are fragile and subject to harm from unhealthy speaking habits. Through our training, we will identify potentially harmful speaking habits of yours and help you build up healthier ones.

IMPORTANT: Infinity Island LLC is not responsible or liable for any service, booked through infinityisland.com or not, without a valid payment directly paid to Infinity Island LLC's account through credit/debit card, Venmo, bank transfer or other online payment methods. If the listed full amount of payment is not processed through us, we will not be responsible or liable for any dispute between you and the service provider(s). The following policy is recommended and only enforceable when the listed full amount of payment goes through us. For services performed through an appointment, please refer to the policy below in terms of attendance, rescheduling, and cancelling, unless otherwise specified in the service description, the policy of a plan, or a contract. Unless due to an act of God, a session will be deemed completed if there's a no-show. If you will be late for a session, we kindly ask that you directly inform the instructor, coach, artist or consultant who provides the service as soon as possible. If no notice is given, a session will be deemed a no-show and completed after 15 minutes of lateness. If for any reasons you are late or leave before a session ends, the duration time loss will not be made up for. You may reschedule or cancel a session at least 24 hours before it starts through "My Bookings" page in the member's area on our website. Please note, we do not offer refunds. If you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand, the full amount of your payment will be credited toward another session in the form of a coupon. Such coupon does not have an expiration date and cannot be restored or reissued. However, you will lose a session and any payments you have already made for it if you fail to cancel at least 24 hours beforehand, unless due to an act of God. If a no-show or a cancellation within 24 hours before a session starts is due to an act of God, depending on where it occurs, the solution may vary. If the act of God affects only where you are, 50% of the amount of your payment of the session will be credited toward another session in the form of a coupon. Otherwise, the full amount of your payment will be credited toward another session in the form of a coupon.
